All your belongings MUST be packed and ready for collection unless you have opted for our full services. During a pickup, SMARTBOX storage professional movers will collect your furniture for storage, create an inventory of items where possible, and load & secure items on the moving truck.

Yes! When booking your service let us know your specific requirements if you need boxes and packaging, full/part packing services to disassemble furniture items and wrap them for added protection.

With SMARTBOX Storage you can store almost anything legal in your storage unit, from household furniture and belongings, through to tools and equipment from your garden shed, excess office furniture and equipment, archived office documentation, and even surplus business stock and inventory, while items such as firearms, explosives, toxic or contaminated items, food, perishable goods, live plants and animals, and any flammable or hazardous goods cannot be stored in our storage facilities.

A 5×10 storage unit in London will cost £159 per month. The cost could be lower depending on the duration of storage (50 square feet or 400 cubic feet) will hold some furniture such as a couch, chair, chest or dresser, mattress plus boxes or small items. It is comparable to a large walk-in closet.

Generally, anything above 6 months can be considered long-term. There are no restrictions on how long you can store items with SMARTBOX Storage. We offer short-term and long-term storage for any period. 

You can extend your storage period at any time, or request your items be taken out of storage whenever necessary by giving us notice periods.

Yes. The best bet is to use lidded plastic containers. These are great for protecting against any vermin as well as protecting your clothes from moisture. If you want to take extra care, and we recommend you do, line the plastic storage boxes with clean cotton sheets first such as acid-free tissue paper.

We offer shipping services, removal Service, full Packing/unpacking, boxes and packaging, store&ship, trade show events & logistics support. In addition, we offer “SMARTwardrobe” services where clients can swap seasonal clothes as the weather changes. Winter for summer and vice versa.

If you need access to your goods in between storage no problems at all, we retrieve the items for you for small charges, just give us 72 hours’ notice and we’ll return your goods direct to your home or office saving time

Once you are done with the storage and have a date to receive your stored items, you will need to give us a notice period minimum of 2 weeks. Our door to door delivery service is a paid service.
